Shortcodes

Last Updated: Aug 12, 2013 10:00PM PDT

A shortcode is a WordPress-specific code that lets you do nifty things with very little effort. Shortcodes can embed files or create objects that would normally require lots of complicated, ugly code in just one line.

SoldPress v1.2+ uses Shortcode syntax to integrate listing content on your WordPress site.

Available shortcodes

[soldpress-listing] displays a single featured listing.
[soldpress-search] displays a search form.

Feature Listing

To use the listing shortcode, you’ll need to switch to the Text editor. The listing shortcode can be used in its simplest form like this

[soldpress-listing id="11937198"]

id is the post_id of the listing.

Search

To use the search shortcode, you’ll need to switch to the Text editor. The search shortcode can be used in its simplest form like this

[soldpress-search]
